Foot Drop Support Information
The Foot Drop Support secures with Velcro to the Bed Heel Elevator to prevent pressure sores caused by foot-drop. The convenient attachment allows for easy access to the foot for frequent inspection and treatment of the foot. After acute / sub-acute ankle injuries the FDS will ensure the patient's ankle remains in a position close to 90 degrees, preventing excessive joint stiffness. The FDS has a removable washable cover for infection control.
