Hip Abduction Pillow Information
The Hip Abductor is used following Hip Replacement operations to prevent the patient’s leg crossing the mid-line, and greatly reducing the risk of hip dislocation. Cut out grooves on either side of the Hip Abductor ensure the patient’s legs are held comfortably in place via two Velcro straps. Our Hip abductor is designed with infection control in mind – a heat sealed inner core and single patient use outer ensure there is no cross contamination between in-patients.
