Description

The Optimus 2 heavy duty power wheelchair is great on or off the beaten path. Whether you need to make a long trip around town or want to go off road, the Optimus 2 will take you there.

Big 360 x 120 mm front wheels make short work of kerbs, gaps and make boarding trains and buses easier.

Ride comfort and safety with a range of seating systems and options, without sacrificing manoeuvrability.

LONG RANGE BATTERY & POWERFUL MOTORS

The Optimus 2 chews the ground with its 950 watt transaxle motor & gearbox.

The Optimus 2’s big battery will tackle short trips or long distance. Drive up to 70kms with the 107 ah batteries on a single charge.

An independent wheel suspension system and terriffic climbing power are ideal for paved roads and challenging kerbs.

POWER SEAT TILT & POWER BACK RECLINE

Get the pressure relief you need with the Optimus 2’s 35° power seat tilt and 50° power backrest recline.

Tilt and recline systems have numerous health benefits, including reducing the risk of pressure injuries, reducing shear force on the base of the spine, oedema management, easier transfers and reduction of fatigue.

A tilt and recline system makes you more comfortable and reduces back pain, meaning you can be more productive and get more out of your day.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE

Obstacle climbing ability is the strength of front wheel drive power wheelchairs. FWD also have great stability and weight distribution.

FWD power chairs manage tight corners well, as they have a shorter front end than other configurations. With rear wheel servo steer, the Optimus steers well.

FWD chairs are usually a smoother ride outdoors, due to having larger casters than mid wheel drive chairs.
